If you follow these easy tips your lawn should fill in lush and beautiful and continue that way for years to come.
- Watering is essential for the start of your new lawn. You may need to water up to 3 times per day to keep your mulch moist.
- Cutting of grass should be done on a weekly basis. Cut to a height of 2.5 to 3 inches. Do not bag your clippings as they will supply nutrients to the seed.
- For the first full year of growth you should fertilize every four weeks with a start-up fertilizer.
- Do not apply any weed control to your lawn until the grass has been cut at least 4 times.
